Community voices and Activities of climate change and well-being

Whole day spent in the communities of Iganga District to trace the success stories or efforts by community member to impact climate change and wellbeing where we visited a community nursery bed for trees which are distributed free to members and also they young people are trained on how care for them .

PEER EDUCATION SCHOOL OUT REACH

In Masooli Secondary School in Wakiso District, together with Girls in School Initiative and Suubi foundation we reached out to over 60 students in the ages between 13-20 years on an interactive Peer Education Program which focused on Sex education and Menstural health Management.

MCLD-U meeting INGOs and NGOs

As a member Organization of MCLD-U, we were represented by our Team Leader Ian Kikomeko to an event organized by the Movement for Community-Led Development (MCLD-U) which was marked by a learning episode about Community-Led Development and its relevance by Dr. Daisy Owomugasho, Regional Director, The Hunger Project Uganda and Gunjan Veda, Senior Advisor and Coordinator of Global Collaborative Research MCLD .
