Annual Primary Schools Nutrition and WASH writing Essay Competitions

In participation of over 100 pupils, together with our partners we managed to hold the finals for the Annual essay competitions about Nutrition and WASH practices among 5 primary schools in Wakiso district under the Right2Grow program.

In the final round which was hosted by one of the participating schools, each school was represented by 5 participants whose essays were selected out standing at school level which had 30pupils from each school. The event was graced by the Executive Director of the National Children Authority who also led the fruit tree planting encouraging climate change and health

The competitions are intended to support learners aquire more validated information about Nutrition and WASH Practices, raise their voices about their needs and also take responsibility to promote their hygiene and sanitation.
The event was supported by The Movement for Community-Led Development, Amaani Initiative, The Rotaract Club of Kasangati and the National Children Authority.
